Our Team

Dr. Ibrahim Qattan was born in Lebanon and moved to Texas when he was nine years old. He completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. After his sophomore year in college, Dr. Qattan spent his summer working for two optometrists in Arlington and fell in love with the profession. 

He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. During his optometric training, Dr. Qattan explored a wide range of specialities from dry eyes, specialty contact lenses, myopia control and glaucoma. He also volunteered at a community clinic in Memphis that served the underprivileged population where he was able to hone his communication skills in Spanish while providing eye care. 

During his time in optometry school, he was involved in Remote Area Medical, the Student Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Student Association, and the National Optometric Student Association. Dr. Qattan is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in the state of Texas. 

Dr. Qattan and his wife, Idalia, are proud parents of their two boys, David and Daniel. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, wood working and spending time with his family.
